Famous Welsh poet William Henry Davies in one of his poems "Leisure", had said,

What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare.

In today’s time, human life and lifestyle have become miserable. We are under constant pressure of insecurity, inconsistency and the fear of the unknown that is making us impatient and moreover, incomplete and unhappy. The race to succeed has somewhat left us alone. In such a moment of helplessness, we keep on wanting for someone to come and guide us through to the light. And, once that light of hope and self-awareness is witnessed, there is no force in the world known to exist that can stop the human ability.

Such is the power of effective counselling. It is like an elixir for an ailing soul. However, the matter of the fact is that from our childhood, through adolescence and youth, we are provided with some or other form of counselling. The very first course of counselling begins with our mother that is carried forward by both the parents, other members of the family, our teachers, friends, our ideal in the society and so on.

Still, have you ever wondered, why at times, we find ourselves in the state of helplessness and in a need to be cancelled?

This is because, with time, the situations and circumstances become tough, unfamiliar and more challenging. Our preoccupied mind cannot gather the sufficient confidence required to overcome the odds. We gradually get into the grip of trauma, depression, addiction, academic and career concerns in our life. Hence, the need of professional counselling and an expert counsellor is realised.

So, what is counselling?

In simple words, it is suggestion. Suggestions that can help us live a satisfactory life. The practice of counselling has been going on since time immemorial. In the Mahabharata, the most sacred, ancient holy tale, you can find how Lord Krishna counselled grief-succumbed Arjuna, his disciple and enlightened him to the metaphysical truths of the world.

His teachings in the midst of the war encouraged Arjuna to perform his duties as a soldier, irrespective of the loss of his own son. Arjuna was so enlightened by his counselling that he killed ten times more enemies the other day. Lord Krishna knew his patient well and gave him the right piece of advice in the right intensity on the right occasion.

The role of the counsellor, hence becomes more critical. The counsellor is not just like the guide, but he performs the duties of a parent, brother, teacher, doctor and alike. If effective counselling and an expert counsellor are not met with, the teaching becomes unproductive. This, we can understand through another reference from the same epic tale of the Mahabharata.

Dronacharya, the teacher who prepared Arjuna to become the greatest warrior of the time, could not help his own son Ashwatthama to become the best archer. This is because, Ashwatthama could not get proper and correct way of counselling from his father. A good counsellor brings the perfect balance between the logical and subconscious brain of his seeker.

This is what we do at Our Brain Our Life.

We help our believers to bring that balance between their logical and subconscious minds in their life, so that they behave and perform rationally in difficult situations and circumstances. We do this through various practices and Bio-tools. Together, they help the disadvantaged soul evolve as a self-aware, conscious and learned human being. Let us see how.

We do counselling by two main ways.

Bio Tools Approach – Machines help Human

Through Bio-tools approach we conduct various activities to map the brain wave and check the gaps. This includes neuroscientific approaches like brain wave mapping and brain wiring for the development of sensory-driven neural activities of the patients. The tools we use for this purpose are:

• EEG Instruments
• MEG Instruments
• GSR Instruments

Psychological/Shwetkakya Approach– Subconscious mind Approach

Under the practical approach, we conduct several methods to heal the particular psychological issue occurring with the patient. These are tried, tested and approved practices discovered under scientific philosophies. To name a few, these are:

• Year Power Chart
• Assumption Window
• Power Energy Healing
• Sub Conscious Brain Power
• Trans Method
• Hypnosis
• Sextrology
• Phychtrology
